Ü.Torpats) The doctoral thesis is the only work of Baer translated into Estonian (translator Ü. Torpats)	K.E.v. The second volume was published without approvement of the authorin 1837. In same year Baer organised an expedition to Novaja Zemlja and he took more interest in physical geography	K.F.Burdachi toimetamisel ilmunud Füsioloogia kui empiiriline teadusjaoks kirjutas Baer artiklid kanaloote ja konnaloote arengust. For Die physiologie als Erfahrungswissenschaft(edited by K.F.Burdach) Baer wrote articles on the development of the embryos of the chicken and the frog.
