Exhibition of the books published by the Estonian authors in 2022
On the third floor of the library, an exhibition of the books by Estonian authors, published in the year 2022, is open. More than 200 books are exhibited, first printings as well as revised ones.
“The number of literary works, written by the Estonian authors within one year, is quite remarkable,” said the compiler of the exhibition Marianne Tiik. “It is difficult to have an overview of all new books, but here it is a good opportunity to have them just in front of you."
As for poetry, two collections by Uku Masing with the poems that have not been yet published, are exhibited, also the 21th centry poetry collection "The Planet of Love", books by Berit Kaschan, Taavi Eelmaa, Wimberg, Viivi Luik, Paul-Eerik Rummo and several others.
Among others, the prose books include the debut novel "The body of my brother" and collection short stories "Miss of Collective Farm" by Lilli Luuk, book "The Lights of Toome" by Lauri Sommer, historical novel "Witness" by Katrin Laur and the books of essays "The View" by Jan Kaus.
The exhibition is open until 19 February.
