Exhibition of Dissertations Opened to Celebrate the 101st Anniversary of the National University

University of Tartu Library celebrates the 101th anniversary of the Estonian national university with the exhibition of doctoral theses, defended in 2020.
Printed dissertations of this year's new doctors are exhibited in the 2nd floor hall of the library. 23 dissertations were defended in the humanities, 17 in social sciences, 18 in medical sciences and 52 in natural and exact sciences; 10 of them were written in Estonian, 97 in English and three in Russian.
Electronic versions of the dissertations are accessible for all via the UT digital archive DSpace.
The exhibition was compiled by the librarian Mare Pikkel and it will be open until 30 December.
