13.12.2017

On 2 January, UT Library will open its traditional Night Library in the pop-up reading rooms on Veski Street. Night Library welcomes the students from Monday till Sunday, from 9 a.m. until midnight.

“It is already the third time when we have to organise the Night Library outside our own building due to the renovation,“ said Martin Hallik, the director of UT library. “But this is the first time on Veski street. We have set up a convenient study environment there – for group as well as for individual work.“ There are 3 reading tooms, 7 rooms for group work, computer class, printing and photocopying facilities as well as an area for eating and relaxing.

In addition, UT Library reminds all students that during the renovation period the requesting of books from Estonia and abroad via Interlibrary Loans Service (ILL) is free of charge. Free request via ILL applies to all books and journals whose location in the e-catalogue ESTER is ‘UTL Stacks (temporarily unavailable)’. Night Library is open from 2-14 January. In additon to the study environment, UT library will offer the students coffee, tea and biscuits free of charge.
