Night Library Will Open Today

02.01.2017

Today UT Library will open its traditional Night Library in the pop-up reading rooms on J. Liivi Street. For the first time, the Night Library will also be open on weekends.

“Due to the renovation, the Night Library will work on J. Liivi Street this year, but we have made the environment there as student-friendly as possible and we hope that the students will be satisfied,” said Martin Hallik, the director of the UT library. The pop-up library offers studying space for 200 people and it will provide service until midnight.

From 21.00, coffee, tea and fruits are offered free of charge. Reading dogs will visit the Night Library, and board games and virtual reality games can also be played on some days. To relieve the exam stress by physical activities, students can play table soccer or ride Generatorbike electric bikes.

Night Library will welcome students on 2-15 January from 9.00 to 24.00.
