Online Course "Basics of Information Literacy" Starts on October 1

On 1 October the University of Tartu Library will start the online course „Basics of Information Literay“ in Estonian. The students from all faculties are welcome to participte.   

The main aim of the course is to introduce different information sources available on the Internet,  provide knowledge and practical information search skills, also educate students in the ethical use of information. In addition to learning how to find information, participants of the course will also learn how to assess the information sources.

The course includes different study materials as well as tests to check the knowledge gained during the study process.

Registration to the course via ÕIS is open until 29 September. The course will last until 25 November.
