Pop-up Reading Rooms Will Be Opened in a New Location

27.07.2017

On Monday, July 31 UT Library will open the pop-up reading rooms in the former building of the Estonian National Museum (Veski str. 32). There is enough room for these who want to study as well as for group works.

„We sincerely believe that our readers will get used to the new location very quickly,“ said Liisi Lembinen, the Director of Development of UT Library. „We started moving from Liivi street already in the mid of June and now all necessary preparations are done – we have Internet connection and rooms furnished. We have done everything that was possible to make these rooms comfortable for studying. In addition to rooms where students can study and prepare group works, we have a room where one can rest, chat and make coffee or tea.“

The pop-up reading rooms will be on Veski street until the end of the first stage of the library renovation.

The reading rooms on Veski street are open from Monday until Friday 9-21 and on Saturdays and Sundays 12-18. Information point on Veski street is open on busines days 9-19.
