UT Library Offers Digitalization of Copyright-free Books for a Special Price

15.11.2019

The UT Library and the National Library of Estonia are offering the digitization of copyright-free books from their collections at a special price of 10 EUR from 18 November to 15 December 2019.

All books with discount can be found here or find books you want to digitize in the Estonian catalogue ESTER (choose from collections of NLE and UTL).

How to order?

  • Click on the book you are interested in and if it is available for digitization, click on the blue “Request a Digital Copy” button and then on “Entire content”.
  • Fill in your order.

The participating libraries reserve the right for exceptions in special cases. See the Terms & Conditions by clicking the “Digital on request” and “Entire content” button in the record of the desired book.

An EOD eBook is a single full-text pdf file of a public domain book, digitised at the user’s request. The file contains the image of the scanned original book and, if possible, the text has been subjected to automatic character recognition, enabling full text search. All kinds of marks and notes left by previous owners and readers in the margin of the pages of the original volume will also appear in the file.
