UT Library Organises Seminar on Research Data

26.03.2019

The University of Tartu Library in cooperation with DataCite Estonia will hold the international seminar „FAIR Data – the Key to Sustainable Research“ in the UT Library (W. Struve 1)  on 9 and 10 April.

„As in previous years, we are organising the seminar on research data management and usage this year as well,“ said Lilian Neerut, the head of the Department of Subject Librarians. “Researchers, postgraduates, funders and research administrators, as well as other people interested in the topics of research data, are welcome to participate in this seminar.“

While the first day includes mostly the presentations and reports by international and local experts, on the second day the digital solutions to manage research data are introduced: electronic lab notebooks and standards of geospatial data. The workshops are led by the data management specialists of the Delft University of Technology.

The working language of the seminar is English.
