Book Binding and Restoration

The bindery of the Department of Preservation and Conservation offers the service of binding and repairing of modern books, newspapers and magazines.

To restore historical or valuable objects we recommend using either conservation or restoration methods. The amount of work depends on the condition of the object and your wishes. Cost of the restoration is time-based (price per hour).

Mass-deacidification treatment is suitable for neutralizing printed acidic paper. The price of the service is calculated based on the weight of the objects (price per kilo).

If you wish have your book bound, repaired or restored, please make an appointment with our employee and use the library's Akadeemia Street entrance when you arrive.
