User Training

Information literacy is an important transferable skill that forms the basis for lifelong learning and helps ensure graduates' competitiveness in the job market.

The University of Tartu Library's information literacy training aims to support the university's educational activities at all academic levels. The training teaches how to find, evaluate, manage, and use information ethically for study and research.

The training is conducted by the library’s subject librarians and is free for members of the University of Tartu.

Subject librarians conduct information search training, which can be integrated into university courses. Faculty members interested in this option should contact their subject librarian.

We also offer information literacy training for external groups and schools. Contact us to arrange the content and schedule of the training.
