The Horizon 2020 Framework Programme includes the pilot programme “Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data in Horizon 2020”.

The participating projects are obliged to submit data management plans, specifying the open data among their datasets. The document included here offers both the applicants and those who have already received support the instructions for data management within Horizon 2020. These instructions explain how researchers should take responsibility for the quality, security and sharing of their research data.

As the data management plan indicates how research data will be managed during the project and after its closure, it is an essential component of all projects which participate in the Horizon 2020 open research data pilot programme and, generally, of all research projects.

OpenAIRE

OpenAIRE is an e-infrastructure for storing research results produced with the EU support and making research information available via Open Access. Today, OpenAIRE gives access to more than 520 repositories and numerous OA journals, more that 9 million open publications and 1000 datasets, and documents and materials from 50 000 organisations and 30 000 projects.

ΖENODO is an open and reliable repository provided by OpenAIRE and CERN, which allows researchers of all fields to freely share and preserve their research results, regardless of their size and format.

Estonia's national Open Access contact point and OpenAIRE user support (i.e. National Open Access Desks, NOAD) has been the UT library since 2009, and the repository interfaced with the OpenAIRE portal is the UT digital archive ADA and the data repository DataDOI. If you have any questions regarding EU policies, open access or open scientific data, be they reporting or technical, please contact us: openaire-est@ut.ee
