The exhibitions at the University of Tartu Library include various scientific, historical and cultural displays that support the library's academic and educational mission. Exhibitions often focus on the library's collections, such as rare prints, manuscripts and documents. But we also cover topics related to Estonian culture and history.
Various art exhibitions have also found a place at the library. Through three floors, you can find exhibitions by recognized artists, art lovers and students from different school and academic levels. Years of cooperation have developed, for example, with Konrad Mägi's studio, EKA and Pallas, and also with Tartu Art School and Children's Art School. In addition to that, we have the annual collaboration with the Prima Vista Literary Festival. Their art program takes over the entire house every year in May.
Exhibitions are open to both university members and the general public, offering educational and inspiring experiences.
