Konrad Mägi Atelier exhibits the works of 29 painters
On the third floor of the library, during the summer months, you can view the traditional Konrad Mägi Atelier artists' spring exhibition.
According to Maire Aarsalu, one of the leaders of the Konrad Mägi Atelier and an artist, the main objective is to maintain the continuity with the historical Pallas Art School, where color is the primary means of expression for the painter. "As Heldur Viires used to say, painting is simple - it's about the right color in the right place," she added.
The works of studio students have been exhibited for thirty three years now. The exhibition showcases the works of both experienced painters and students who have recently begun their studies. A total of 29 artists participate in the Konrad Mägi Studio spring exhibition: Alo Aarsalu, Maire Aarsalu, Lemme Haldre, Heli Järv, Ülle Kaasik, Karin Karlsson, Merike Kaunissaare, Aivar Klaos, Maria Kilp, Kersti Kohtla, Elts Kuhhi, Jane Kukk, Gert Laiuste, Koidu Laur, Heiki Merila, Saima Männo, Margus Nurmik, Kaari Onni, Anna Otsolainen, Peep Pedmanson, Ingrid Ploom, Ulvi Raudsik, Mari-Ann Remmel, Anne Reppo, Stella Sapar, Merike Suits, Mari-Liis Tammesoo, Uku Paul Tuuling, Sirje Vesi.
