Winter Seminar of Memory Institutions Focuses on Staff Issues
The traditional two-day Winter Seminar of memory institutions, organised by the UT Library, will start today at Kääriku. The first day of the seminar is focusing on all kinds of staff-related problems and discusses ways of staff development.
Head of the UT Human Resources Office Kristi Kuningas will open the seminar with her presentation discussing staff recruitment and retraining. Heads and HR officers of the participating institutions will share their experience in finding the most suitable staff members for their institutions. Aira Lepik from Tallinn University and Krista Lepik from the UT will then talk about the academic education of memory institutions’ staff members. The first day of the seminar will conclude with a training session held by Jaanus Kangur about the work stress and ways of coping with it.
The second day of the seminar is devoted to short presentations and discussions on different subjects related to the development of memory institutions.
The already 20th Winter Seminar of memory institutions will expect about 60 participants.
