Library is closed from 11 March to 11 April
Related to the extensive restrictions all over Estonia to stop the spread of coronavirus, the University of Tartu Library will be closed from 11 March to 11 April. Books can be still borrowed for use at home and returned during this period.
The library will be fully closed from 11 March to 14 March. From Monday, 15 March, books can be again borrowed by requesting them via the e-catalogue ESTER. The requested books can be picked up from the Smart Locker in the lobby of the main building of the library (Struve 1). The locker can be accessed from Monday to Friday 12-19.
Books can be returned 24/7 to the book return machine by the library main entrance, or working days 12-19 to the book return box in the library lobby.
ILL service is also avilable during the restrictions period.
All members of the University of Tartu can use the research databases. E-courses will continue, all inquiries will be answered and digital copies will be made.
The due dates from 1 March to 11 April of all borrowed materials will be renewed up to 12 April. No fines will be calculated for this period.
