UT Library Offers Digitalization of Copyright-free Books for a Special Price
The UT Library and the National Library of Estonia are offering the digitization of copyright-free books from their collections at a special price of 10 EUR from 20 November to 10 December 2023.
The requests to digitize the books in the collections of the UT Library can be sent via the Estonian catalogue ESTER, in case the respective reference is added to the book, and also via the catalogue EMIL. If there is no EOD reference made to the book, but it is copyright-free, please contact us in the mail address eod@ut.ee.
The digital copies from other libraries offering EOD service can be requested via EOD Search.
More information about the offer here.
An EOD eBook is a single full-text pdf file of a public domain book, digitised at the user’s request. The file contains the image of the scanned original book and, if possible, the text has been subjected to automatic character recognition, enabling full text search. All kinds of marks and notes left by previous owners and readers in the margin of the pages of the original volume will also appear in the file.
