Computers for general use are now located in the big hall on the 2nd floor

Starting from September 26, the computers intended for general use by readers will be located in the big hall on the second floor.

The rearrangement of computer placement is due to the increased need for group workspaces among students. Since most people studying and working in the library have their own laptops, a significant number of the public computer stations were mostly unused.

The room located near the newspaper and magazine reading area will henceforth be available to students as a group workroom named Tori. Starting next week, it can also be reserved. Computers that require a university login and contain various programs (e.g., AutoCAD 2019, IBM SPSS Statistics, etc.) will now be located in the former public computer room near the printers.

All computers placed in the public area will be clearly marked to make them easy for readers to find.
