UT Library and Tartu Folk High School organise a joint Christmas fair

On Thursday, 12 December, the university library and the Tartu Folk High School will host the traditional Christmas fair.

"Previous years have shown that the cooperation between the two institutions has been perfect," said the library’s Cultural Environment Manager Lilian Mengel, speaking about the joint fair. "The sellers come from the folk high school, we provide the venue and all the support that participants need," she said, adding that several library staff members who enjoy making handicrafts will also be selling at the fair.

This year's Christmas fair will offer ceramics, metalwork, woollen socks and gloves, jewellery, natural cosmetics, AI-generated artwork, food, drinks, and much more. The fair will be open in the first-floor lobby from 12:00 to 18:00.
