EBSCOhost is a powerful online reference system that is accessible via the Internet. It offers a variety of proprietary full-text databases and popular databases from leading information providers (APA PsycInfo, ERIC, Academic Search Complete, Business Source Complete, Medline, etc).
Library users who don't have credentials to enter the UT network can get an EBSCO username and password by writing to [email protected] or calling 7375729 or 7375780.
EBSCO Discovery Search is a portal for academic literature that allows users to search multiple databases at once through a single search box. It is primarily designed to support students and researchers in finding up-to-date scholarly information. Discovery retrieves journal articles, e-books, research papers, and other academic materials. Searches in EBSCO Discovery are similar to regular EBSCO database searches.
For more precise results, it may still be useful to search specific databases separately. EBSCO Discovery is available within the University of Tartu network. However, it does not cover all databases accessible to UT users (for example, Beck Online).
