UT Library invites everyone to join for the movie night on April 30, at 18:00 when the film "How to build a spaceship" will be shown. The movie night takes place in the seminar room Tõstamaa.

The University of Tartu Library in cooperation with DataCite Estonia will hold the international seminar „FAIR Data – the Key to Sustainable Research“ in the UT Library (W. Struve 1) on 9 and 10 April. „As in previous years, we are organising the seminar on research data management and usage this year as well,“ said Lilian Neerut, the head of the Department of Subject Librarians. “Researchers, postgraduates, funders and research administrators, as well as other people interested in the topics of research data, are welcome to participate in this seminar.“

On 19 March, the exhibition "Rarities of Astronomy" was opened in the UT Library, displaying the most valuable part of the historical books and documents that arrived in the library from Tartu Observatory in the end of the previous year.

On Tuesday, March 19 at 15:00 the medical database DynaMed Plus, presently open for trial, is presented in the UT Library. Everyone who is interested in gaining more knowledge about this database is welcome to participate in the event in the group work room Rotalia on the second floor of the library. For trial are open two EBSCO medical databases DynaMed Plus and Isabel. Trial is open until 30th Aprill.

Journal Bioanalysis is open for trial until 31st December 2019. UT only has access to the 2018 & 2019 content. The journal Bioanalysis focuses on the techniques and methods used for the detection or quantitative study of analytes in human or animal biological samples.
