EBSCO Discovery Search is a portal for academic literature that allows users to search multiple databases at once through a single search box. It is primarily designed to support students and researchers in finding up-to-date scholarly information. Discovery retrieves journal articles, e-books, research papers, and other academic materials. Searches in EBSCO Discovery are similar to regular EBSCO database searches.
For more precise results, it may still be useful to search specific databases separately. EBSCO Discovery is available within the University of Tartu network. However, it does not cover all databases accessible to UT users (for example, Beck Online).

EOD Search is the fastest way to find already digitised items or books offered for digitisation. EOD search engine gives free access to the full text of nearly 40,000 copyright-free books and nearly 6 million other books offered for digitisation for a moderate fee at the request of users. The items in 30 languages available via the EOD Search cover science, social science, history, medicine, language and literature, law, philosophy, psychology, religion and other subjects.
ERIC provides access to education literature and resources. The database contains more than 1.3 million records of journal articles, books, dissertations and theses, conference papers, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides dating back to 1966. Full-text articles are available only from the journals that the university has subscribed to.
