Sinica Sinoweb is one of the e-databases supported by the National Central Library (NCL) in Taiwan after the Taiwan Resource Centre of Chinese Studies (TRCCS) was set up at the University of Tartu in 2021.

The database contains two databases: the statistics database and the regional development database; it presents national and regional statistics. The regional development database offers official regional and also unofficial statistics. Both databases have the following divisions: environment, economics, population, and social sphere. Data from the population, housing, and agricultural census are presented separately. Each division is broken into subdivisions. Both databases are in Estonian and English.

The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR) is an online database of genetic and molecular biology data for the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.

The portal aims to promote the innovative use of data and the realization of its economic potential by offering simple and free access to the data. It also seeks to enhance the transparency and accountability of EU institutions and other bodies.

The EU Open Data Portal is managed by the Publications Office of the European Union. The Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission is responsible for implementing the EU open data policy.

Most materials are freely accessible online and searchable via search engines.

UT digital archive ADA uses minimal metadata for the preservation and management of electronic materials, with digital objects being fully described in the e-catalogue ESTER.

Portal VAU provides access to many databases of the National Archives of Estonia.

The Web of Science, a citation index published by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary database. It provides searchable author abstracts and covers a wide range of journal literature across the sciences, social sciences, and arts. It indexes leading journals in these fields and includes the cited reference lists (bibliographies) for each article, allowing users to search for works that cite a specific author or publication.
