An exhibition of Kei Olbrei’s acrylic paintings, "Abstracts," is on display on the 3rd floor of the library.
Olbrei, who has a background in psychology, graduated in painting from Tartu Higher Art School. She says she returned to painting three years ago after a career in the startup and IT sectors, as well as a major upheaval in her personal life.
Olbrei hopes that her abstract works serve as conversation partners — helping to organize old thoughts and generate new ones. She also believes that her paintings influence the atmosphere of a space and the well-being of those in it, inspiring and creating positive emotions.
Kei Olbrei’s exhibition can be viewed at the library until April 27.
