The University of Tartu Library offers students and researchers the opportunity to rent individual study rooms that provide a focused environment for studying or writing academic work.
The individual study rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the library and can be rented for academic or research purposes for periods ranging from one hour up to an entire semester. “Such a room is ideal for quiet concentration,” said Olga Einasto, Head of the Library’s Service Department. “Each room is equipped with a desk, chair, and shelves, and users may leave their personal belongings there for the duration of the rental period.”
According to her, individual study rooms are most commonly used by researchers, but they are becoming increasingly popular among students as well.
Individual study rooms can be rented at the service desk on the 3rd floor of the library. Use of the rooms is subject to a fee, the full price list is available on the library’s website.
